The cutest little pair of boat shoes I've ever seen.
This is one of my favorite shot from the shoot. I love the light, the colors, the dress, her expression… just so simple.
There must be something in the water last year because it seems like everyone is pregnant this year. It must be a good year for babies!
Congrats to all the mommies out there. I can't get enough of these adorable babies!
Last Sunday, I met this gorgeous mama-to-be, Lindsey. She is expecting a baby girl in October. Her due date is October 3rd. I forgot to tell Lindsey that is just a day before MY own birthday (yes, hint hint, my birthday is coming guys!!). Now how exciting is that! Maybe this little girl will arrive ON my birthday if she arrived just a day late.
Well, we're all set for her newborn session as soon as she arrives. And I can't wait to be back to meet her. I love October!
Check out how GORGEOUS she is with her baby bump....
I loved her dimples
Sweet moments together...
The perfect pair for this little California girl.

Just a few more sneak peeks from our latest maternity session.
Meet our soon-to-be mother of 2, Brittina. She is 35 weeks and growing.
Little Ethan here knows that he is going to be a big brother soon. I love the sweet moment between a mother and her first born child... as they wait for their baby to arrive into this world to join them, just another month away.
This mommy's belly was the last maternity session I did for the year of 2009. To ring in the New Year, her newborn baby, Drew was the first baby I got to photograph in 2010. What a sweet way for me to remember this special family.
Meet Jill, her husband Keith and her beautiful belly.

I absolutely love Jill's expression ... like any new mom, the unconditional love you feel when you hold your newborn baby during that first month of life. A feeling that no mother should ever forget. And that moment should be captured for her.

My favorite part about this shot? The toes!
Myf
It's an honor when a good friend ask you to photograph their family.
My buddy, Yoon and his wife are expecting another little boy this October. What a fun little bunch they were. Everyone was so comfortable with the camera, they helped made my job so easy. Little Conan needed a little warming up in the beginning so I had to give him his space and let him get used to having me around. I began our shoot from a distance (thanks to my 200mm lens!). After about 15mins into the shoot, Conan seemed warmed up to the idea that I'll be around for a bit longer. And he eventually gave us those sweet little smiles. During the shoot, Conan was coming straight up at me towards my camera with his stick and giggling too! And by the end of our shoot, he even gave me a sweet hug goodbye. Lucky me!
{ Yoon & Kathy - Thank you for choosing me as your photographer. It was a privilege to have the chance to photograph such a great family. I can't wait to meet your little star. }

One day I received an email from a mother who was expecting... TWINS! Writing to me at already 30 weeks gestation, we had to schedule her in for her session right away since twins can be due anytime after 30 weeks. This mommy also told me she was on bed rest for a while and just got her okay from the doctor to be up and about. Boy, what a great thing to hear from the doc I bet.
Meet Rhonda, our glamourous mama. Can you believe she's having TWINS? Because I can't. When I finally met her, I couldn't believe she had 2 babies inside that tiny belly. If she never told me, I would have never guessed. Plus, she was in such great shape too. She's going to be a mother of 3 very soon. Her little boy, Grayden is the sweetest little guy. His style was just as cool as his mama.

{ Thank you Rhonda for being such a good sport during your photo shoot. I can't wait to come back to photograph your girlie twins when they are born. Oh, and I hope your hubby liked these few glamourous shots of you too *wink wink* }
The first thing I noticed as I walked into this house was this beautiful couch. I immediately knew I wanted to use it as a prop for our photo shoot. I got lucky that the furniture in this house was so easy to move around, they all slide around on that hardwood floor like ice on a table. I had so much space to work with, I practically created my own studio space.
Our Beautiful first time mommy-to-be, Indu, at 35 weeks. She told me she still fit in her own normal jeans, can you believe that? And she's only 5 weeks away from giving birth. I wish that happened to me, but I looked like a snake who ate a dinosaur egg instead.
Her wonderfully sweet hubby threw her a sweet surprise baby shower the day before we had our photo shoot. No wonder why I was welcomed with beautiful pink balloons and flowers as I stepped into the door. This couple was so giggle when they were together, it was the sweetest thing ever.
Congratulations you two giggly love birds. I hope you guys enjoy these sneak peeks. I can't wait to meet you baby girl in just a few more weeks!
This couch reminded me of the King and Queen.
We even took it outside for some shots. All that heavy lifting was all worth it.
I love how she took out her Indian scarfs for us to use. And we made our own little top out of it. I loooved the colors.
