The Connolly

One gorgeous home in the heart of Mill Valley lived one beautiful family of five. Meet the Connollys . They are a happy bunch who was so much fun to shoot for. All 3 boys were full of energy and no one seemed to be shy towards my camera at all - lucky me!

There were many beautiful rooms I photographed in but my favorite one was their bathroom. I mean, their bath tub was too gorgeous not to be used as a prop. The minute I saw the tub I knew I wanted to have some photos of the kids in there. But little did I know, we even ended up throwing their doggie into the tub altogether too. It was so much fun!

Baby Evan - Day 14

It was so great to finally meet Allison and her family, especially the new addition to their family.

Meet baby Evan. He's 14 days young. Can he get any cuter? He's got an adorable big brother who will be his playmate forever. What a lucky little guy Evan is.

The Tryk home was nothing but awesome. Beautiful twigs, a modern fireplace, huge windows with lots of light, sky lights, a great view looking out to the beautiful Mill Valley, a beautiful textured dining table that was just screaming to be photographed. This Tryk family definitely strives to stay green and healthy and owns this gorgeous online store selling safe stainless steel bottles, its called EarthLust. I looove their designs, its so simple and so fresh, and those who knows me definitely knows that I'm a gal who's all about simplicity, fresh and clean designs. During our shoot, we took many little breaks... to nurse, to change diapers, wait for baby to fall asleep and repeat, and repeat. Our 3.5 hour photo session took some work but it was all well worth it especially when I came home and saw the images that I've captured during their shoot. You an see and feel the love this mommy and daddy had for their children, it was truly unconditional and I can feel their heart bursting with love as they held little Evan in their arms.

Tomatina

One busy little body at Tomatina. What is it about a clear glass of liquid and ice that gets kids going nuts for? Yeh, he stole Daddy's ice tea and is truly enjoying it.

1st Graders Rock!

We survived our first week of school. Whew!

Morning routines with a toddler is quite hectic. Packing lunch, remembering to BRING the lunch, eat breakfast, brush teeth, wash face, get dress, potty time, putting on socks, shoes, buckling seatbelt, etc. The good thing is that at this age, he is starting to learn how to do many of those things on his own. Aidan is loving his new class, his teacher and everything in between. This year he's excited to have a little friendly snake pet in his classroom. The teachers reminds the parents that snakes don't carry any kind of human disease what-so-ever. Now that's really good to know.... just in case.

I still can't believe my baby is already in 1st grade. I really can't. Sniff Sniff.

Baby Madelyn (Part 2)

Do you still remember this adorable baby girl? Of course you do. She had portraits done while she was around 3.5 months young. Now she's back for her 2nd session from her Baby's First Year Collection. At 7 months, she's sitting up and observing the world around her.

It's such a privilege to be able to capture all of baby Madelyn's milestones in her first year. Her parents got her the best gift any baby can ever receive - 4 portrait sessions for her very first year (our Baby's First Year Collection). Babies grow so tremendously fast during their first year, it definitely needs to be documented and captured.

I'll be back in a couple more months to capture this little girl's next big milestone as she begins to crawl usually around 10 months .... and then soon enough, she will be running away from my camera.
