The Older One.

Some people must be wondering where my older son have been. I've only been posting my little one's pictures here lately. What a bad mama. Well, here are a few of my BIG boy. He's growing up like Lightening McQueen. He's already 4.5 years old and still loves to have me take pictures of him. He doesn't mind posing for me at ALL - oh, I LOVE it.

Gallery Wrapped Canvas

I ordered a gallery wrapped canvas about a week ago, as a birthday gift for my little one's room. Well, it finally arrived today and I LOVE it. It turned out great and I can't wait to hang it up in his room. It's a photo of him when he was 14 days young. Very fresh and full of flaky skin on him too. The details on this canvas is amazing, very sharp, and the colors are great. It showed every little piece of my baby's flaky skin he had on him too. I loved those tiny details and these are the details that I refuse to photoshop out from my clients' newborn photos.

What a difference...

I love what I do, I truly do. I get to combine design and photography into something fun, that is why I always like to design my own invitations for my kids' birthdays and events. I feel like its my job to design one rather than picking one up from the store. Mama does do this for a living so I feel that its my job to do that eventhough I am so busy. I finally took the time out to make Cooper's 1st birthday invitation. Printed and all mailed out this week too. Whew! It's a combination of the 2 things I love most - my photography and design all in one. I hope Cooper will look back to his scrapbook someday and be grateful. I can't believe this year went by so fast. My little baby gonna walk soon!?

What a difference a year can make. Definitely.

Life IS fair...

My boys are finally getting better. We're almost back to normal schedule now. So I took some time out to plan my little guy's upcoming 1st birthday party. My dear hubby reminded me that we have to be fair for our 2nd child with the birthday planning when I dared to mention sending just an 'evite' out for this 1st birthday party, when my older son had this beautiful Luah pool party invitation card designed and mailed out for his. (and not to mention I practically went all out for his hawaii themed party too). So my hubby is right, the 2nd child should not get any less than his big brother - so I put myself to work.

Since my planning might be a bit behind (now that I've got 2 kids to care for), I've decided to send out a "Save the Date" email to all my guest first. Here is the ecard I designed, with a photo I took of the little guy a few months back when we were at the park. His daddy was throwing him up in the air and he was FULL of giggles, I love this shot, it always makes me smile.

A photographer, a designer, a mother...

Other than posting JUST my teeny tiny little clients on this blog, I've decided to also share parts of my regular life with you all here to mix things up a bit. You will get a taste of my life with my two crazy boys and a glimpse of my life, not only as a baby photographer and graphic designer but also me, as a mother, a wife, a sister, an aunt, a daughter, a shopalcoholic, a friend and much more.

This is how my week went at home.... with my 2 sick boys. One with a very bad runny nose and a horrible cough and the other one, finally recovering from his cold. Look at my poor little guy with his watery puppy eyes along with his most comforting security item ... meet cooper and his yellow binky...



He's considered a VERY active baby...but this week, he's been pretty mellow and sticky.

And look what I caught on camera today as I took off his footed jammies so his little feet can get some fresh air... he went straight to his toes!?


The doctor said his cold will last about 5-7days... I'm counting down the days till he gets better.

Chunks of Love

That's 9.5 lbs of love you're looking at. Meet baby Apollo.

10 days young. He's a first born child. His mommy told me he had jaundice and had to get treated at home during his first couple of days after coming home. Well, when I met him, he seemed very healthy, cute and very huggable to me! I wanted to put him in my bag and take him home.

This little guy slept so well during the shoot. He even slept through his furry big brother's barking! And you know what the best part was? He barely poop'ed on me too. Now that's a good baby.
